ABOUT ORANGE DOT AUDIO

Built Around the Things We Love.

OUR APPROACH

A Different Kind of Audio Store

Orange Dot Audio grew from a simple belief: vintage audio and physical music deserve to be experienced, cared for, and enjoyed—not treated as disposable products.

Our Ocala showroom brings together carefully selected vintage equipment, curated records, an extraordinary collection of factory-sealed CDs, restoration services, and in-house woodworking.

That combination allows us to approach audio as a complete experience—from the electronics inside a component to the cabinet around it, the furniture it sits on, and the music ultimately played through it.

Listen First

Specifications and appearances matter, but music is the final test. Equipment is evaluated as audio equipment, and every used record we sell is actually play-tested.

Do the Work In-House

Electronic restoration, speaker work, cabinet repair, veneering, refinishing, and custom woodworking are handled here, giving us control over the complete result.

Preserve the Character

Restoration should make a piece reliable and beautiful without erasing what made it special in the first place. We respect the design, materials, and character of the equipment we work on.

THE NAME MEANS SOMETHING

The Orange Dot Standard

Our name became part of the way we approach used records. Every record is professionally cleaned and play-tested before it reaches the floor.
One orange dot means it plays fine. Two means it plays great. Three means the playback is exceptional, practically mint.
It is a simple idea, but it represents something larger about Orange Dot Audio: we prefer to evaluate things by how they actually perform.

CRAFTSMANSHIP MATTERS

Restoration Should Look as Good as It Sounds

Vintage audio is often as much furniture and industrial design as it is electronics. Beautiful wood cabinets, veneers, controls, faceplates, and proportions are part of what made this equipment desirable in the first place.

Our in-house woodworking capabilities allow us to restore that side of the equipment too—and to create custom cabinets, enclosures, stands, and furniture when a project calls for something entirely new.
