More Than Cosmetic Restoration

Wood is part of what makes vintage audio special. A beautiful receiver case or speaker cabinet deserves the same attention as the electronics inside it. Our woodworking capabilities allow us to repair damaged cabinets, replace veneer, reconstruct edges and corners, create custom enclosures, refinish original pieces, and build entirely new furniture and audio-related projects.

 

Cabinet Restoration

Damaged corners, loose joints, chipped edges, structural problems, and years of wear can often be repaired rather than replaced. We rebuild and restore vintage audio cabinets with careful attention to their original proportions and character.

Veneer & Refinishing

From localized veneer repairs to complete re-veneering, we restore worn and damaged surfaces and carefully prepare them for finishing. Our goal is a natural, furniture-quality result that complements the original design.

 Custom Enclosures

When an existing cabinet cannot do the job—or the project calls for something entirely new—we design and build purpose-made speaker cabinets, subwoofer enclosures, and other audio-related pieces in-house.

Our woodworking extends beyond audio restoration to custom stands, tables, consoles, and one-of-a-kind furniture. Each piece is designed around its intended use, materials, proportions, and surroundings.

Our woodworking does not begin with a catalog of prefabricated parts. We design around the piece, the equipment, and the intended use. That means we can control proportions, material selection, joinery, edge treatment, finish, and final fit rather than adapting the project to whatever is commercially available.

Built to Reward a Closer Look

The quality of a piece should hold up from across the room—and from a few inches away. Pattern alignment, edge treatment, material transitions, sanding, and finishing all contribute to the final result.

In this custom herringbone table, the laminated construction was intentionally exposed and shaped rather than hidden. The rounded plywood layers follow the corner continuously, while the contrasting walnut band creates a clean visual break and adds warmth.

We believe woodworking should look intentional at first glance—and become even more interesting the closer you look.
